The U.S. Supreme Court will release decisions on a flurry of cases that involve Federal Indian Law. Cherokee citizen Stacy Leeds is a law professor at Arizona State University. She tells us about some of the cases the court will decide. The Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples in the United States is under the House Natural Resources Committee. It has jurisdiction over the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Department of the Interior. The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez from New Mexico.
