Is Play-Based Learning academically beneficial to kindergartners? That question has been at the center of an on-going debate. A new 30-minute documentary entitled "Kindergarten: Where Play and Learning Can Meet," will take a look at whether an academic approach is better than a play-based approach. The video will feature personalized stories of how two Illinois school districts - Valley View School District 365U and District U-46, made the transition to play-based learning and insight from industry experts Dr. Roberta Golinkoff, Dr. Christina Weiland and Eboni Howard.
