During the second story, Buried, Banks must navigate difficult emotional territory when the body of an eminent lawyer is washed up in an underground river and he suspects a member of her grieving family is responsible for her death. Her devout Muslim brother believes she was having an affair with a former employee, but when the employee's body is also discovered, Banks finds himself running a double murder investigation.
